OVERVIEW

Update the style of your Jeep Cherokee SJ Full Size,Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer with this 4-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 33" tires.

Up front the lift kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, brake line brackets and precision tuned NX2 nitrogen charged shocks. In the rear this kit utilizes a high-strength lift block, longer u-bolts and a matching set of NX2 Nitro shocks.

Glide-Ride Leaf Springs

Built to outperform, BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design. Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

Rear Lift Option

Block Kit

  • Blocks are made from cast iron for strength.
  • Tapered for correct pinion angle.
  • Steel pin and hole are offset to restore axle position.

Leaf Springs

  • Eliminates any need for a lift block.
  • Reduces axle wrap and creates a more controlled and stable feel.
  • Multi-leaf progressive design for a smooth ride.
  • Maintains factory payload weight ratings.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. 083402 Pitman arm will increase turning radius. (cannot turn as sharp)
  2. Not recommended for Wagoneers or Cherokees with front and/or rear track rods.
  3. 1974-1975 models must have 131" wheelbase and 7200# GVWR or more for #004408 rear springs to fit.
  4. Some 1974 J20s with stock 401 come with a rear 15/16" spring eye stud.
  5. #004402 and #004408 come with OE rubber bushings installed.
  6. Rear shock mount may need to be relocated.
  7. If equipped with Dana 44 rear axle will require a 9/16 X3-1/4" X 7-1/2" rear u-bolt. (Not supplied by BDS)
